1 When more than 5 bottles of acetylene are stored, but not more than 20
bottles, separate storage rooms shall be separated with non-combustible
or refractory wall in the field or workshop; when more than 20 bottles
are stored, acetylene bottle warehouse shall be installed. The design
and construction of acetylene bottle depot should comply with TJ6 Fire
Protection Code for Architectural Design and TJ31 Design Code for
Acetylene Station.
2 Storage rooms should not be less
than 15 meters away from open fires or sparks. Good ventilation and
cooling measures should be taken to avoid direct sunlight. Fire hydrants
and dry powder or carbon dioxide extinguishers should be installed
nearby.
When storing acetylene bottles, it is generally necessary to keep them upright and take anti-dumping measures.
4. Storage with chlorine cylinders, oxygen cylinders and other combustibles is strictly prohibited.

Storage rooms should be managed by special personnel and marked with
dangerous acetylene and no fireworks in striking locations.
